The first girl surfer on Mavericks

Boys... the bar has been raised. Christine has established herself as the first girl to surf Mavericks. While this is not her first time surfing it (she surfed it a few times last year), she was the first girl to surf this overhead, and powerfull, river wave, and this year she's surfing it on a regular basis.

That's right boys... the bar has been raised!!!

This is literally THE "Mavericks" of river waves! No Joke! It's great to surf... as long as you're willing to pay the price of the beat-down when you fall.. and the downtime afterwards! This sucker has some power to it! Any takers? Hello... boys? Anyone???
