Monday was a first at Habitat... it was the first time that I've seen when a girl was outsurfing all the guys. Andreanne was absolutely on fire, screaming all over the wave from the extreme left to the extreme right, doing slashes, lip smacks, tail slides and powerful bottom turns.

Granted, she had a serious board advantage over everyone else there, but still, its such a pleasure to see that the level of the girls has progressed so much that on a given day, the best surfer there can be a girl. Now thats cool!

I only took photos of her from one run (so, all these shots of her are from just one run!!!) because I was having too much fun on my SUP to take more, but they show you how well she was surfing.

Great tail wash on the bottom left image... She was nailing more and more of these...

What a great powerful turn... Andreanne was literally launching into these off "true" bottom turns all the way in the bottom of the wave... great fluid and powerful turns that we rarely see there...
