Dan Gavere's

new 8'6" Cutback

Dan Gavere sais he loves his 7'6" Cutback, but... its too difficult in many conditions (windy days, choppy days etc), so we're making him a new one thats a bit bigger and easier in varied conditions.

We've also taken the feedback from him and fellow team surfer Julien Fillion and made some neat improvements to the design of the Cutback. Mainly these are more "inch" to the S rail shape through the center and nose, much lower volume rails in the tail, I've moved the wing back 3" so its sitting right next to the center of the front fins, and replaced the "bat tail" for a diamond tail. I've also made some subtle adjustments to the template, particularilly the nose and the way it pulls in, and increased both the nose and tail rocker quite a bit. This baby sould ride like a shortboard on steroids!!
