Finally, a friend!

She's wearing a hood.
On the other hand, it was fun to go out on my SUP with someone, and Andreanne is always game. She doesn't usually look this daft, but we're dressed for the cold.
Andreanne has tried SUP a few times now, but this was her first time on an extended paddle - a nice 5km paddle with a 20km/hr headwind.
She fell a few times, but landed on the board and managed to stay out of the water... other than that it was a fun paddle, a great workout, and at the end with frozen toes, a reason to jump in the spa, drink in hand, on the roof of our building.
Its a hard life. Trust me, it just is.
She was on the Cayuco, and I was on the Trainer. Hardly the same kind of board, with the Cayuco being primarily for whitewater river running and the Trainer a flatwater workout/touring board, but still, we were able to keep a good parallel speed going.
Here are some pictures from the outing.
This summer Imagine is teaching Standup Paddle Classes, so we're out exploring all the cool places where we can take people. It's going to be fun.
