The camera captures a moment, and immortalises it. While I enjoy the effect of motion pictures, my first love is the still image. The snap of a startled look, an emotion or action suspended in time, a death defying feat, the light falling upon a naked body, or an explosive moment. It's that instant, when you know the shot is right, you squeeze the trigger, and hear the click, whirrrl: that moment, whatever it may be, is yours forever.

My love of the camera extends beyond that of cameraman. As much as I like to point my camera at whatever takes my fancy, so I also like to be the subject of the cameras probing lens. Whether this is playing at sports, or modeling, the interaction is the same. This moment, whatever it is, that you create, will be captured. You become like clay, except you are the master of your own shaping.
